The Saturday Book
Vol 34 Contains a short article by lona and Peter Opie (with numerous illustrations in b/w and colour) summarizing the history of pop-ups and movables with examples drawn from their own collection (now in the Bodleian Library Oxford).
Movable Books
A lavishly illustrated picture book featuring the pop-up and movable book collection of David and Briar Philips (sadly now disbanded). Most of the examples shown are pre-1940, with full colour plates (some of which open out to display panoramas) accompanied by lengthy captions detailing the book's history.
